MY DREAM!..MY FUTURE!..

Everyone of us has his/her own dreams. Dreams that will encourage us to keep on moving through the path that we have chosen. Dreams that will inspire us to keep on living. And all of these dreams will be very challenging for us.
As of now, we are living in a very modernized world. A world that is full of changes in the community. Technology is very abundant nowadays and because of this, our life has changed so much. But this much is still not enough for some people. It sure changed the community but not the behavior of people. Some may think that the world today is a safe place but some also also think that it is unsafe for us because of the large number of crimes. So my only dream is to have a very peaceful and successful life. No wars, no killing, no stealing, no crimes to be seen in every part of the world. How I wish to be in a place like this. Who wouldn't want to live in a place like what I'm dreaming now?
To make this one and only dream of mine come true, of course I will pray to the Lord for His help and guidance to fulfill my dream. I will not only depend on the Lord for his help but I too will help myself by continuing my studies and I must have determination. And I'm sure, with all of these in my side, my DREAM will be my FUTURE!!!

Fountainhead to SUCCESS

Our community today is somewhat full of troubles. Disasters happen in any place at any time. In order to prevent these from happening over and over, we must make a change in our community and we must start by changing ourselves.

Disasters never strike on their own. Did you ever thought that we, humans, are the ones causing these mayhem? With our reckless doings, lives are wasted, financial and social problems worsen. When these continue, time comes that it will be hard to change these things. So we must move now and not later in order to make the future ahead of us a great time to be in. But we can't make a change in our community without changing ourselves. So we must first renew our doings by attending programs that could help our community. And after that, I will inform other people to change their wrong actions.

I can't guarantee that these will make a change in the community but let's be optimistic and hope that these changes will make a difference in the future because I know that this will make our community successful

Third Part of TLE IV

The Third Quarter was put to an end and one more to go before the end of our high school life. This quarter was as challenging as the previous quarters. The quizzes, activities, everything was challenging.

In the Third Quarter, we rushed lessons because of the vacations and one of them was our Christmas vacation. We had a 2-week vacation for that so our periodical test was scheduled in January after the vacation. It was hard for me to refresh my mind because all I am thinking about was my vacation. So as a result, I got low on some of my quizzes and not much in my periodical test. All the projects that I made was also a rush so I didn't put my best on making them.

But all of these didn’t bother me much because there is still one more quarter for me to cope up. This last quarter is short but I will do my best to attain higher scores and higher scores means higher grades. I'll expect that this grading will also be challenging but I will face this and will not give up.

The TRUE ESSENCE of CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas, the day that we are all waiting for every year. There's no other day that is more exciting to celebrate than Christmas day. We always celebrate Christmas by exchanging gifts, decorating our Christmas tree and throwing party. But we are forgetting the true essence of Christmas.

The true essence of Christmas is remebering the birth of Christ and His love for us. Without Him, we would not be here today. We can also say that Christmas is all about sharing your blessings with those who are really in need and being thankful for what we have. In other words, we should love our neighbors even if they are poor or rich, our friend or our foe. Giving love to our neighbors may be the best gift that we can give to them so we should keep loving them.

But don't just give love on Christmas Day instead we should also give love even if it's not Christmas so that people will also love you.

November-tastic??

November, the 11th month of the year. It's a busy month for us students in school and also at home because there are many activities that are expected to be done.

We all know that on this month, the first thing we do is to visit the remains of our dead relatives because it's All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. The 3 long weekends that we had was sure enjoying because we had time to relax and I had time to play computer games. But on the other hand, something sad happened. Our Math teacher, Mrs. Josephine Parel, had her retirement. We, the IV-Marconi, had thrown a party for her to make her happier and a sign of giving thanks to her. The City Meet 2009 also occured on this month and the opening program was done here in school. Also, some of the sports were played here in school. So we, CAT officers, were ordered to do our duties.

It's sure is a busy month for us, but thank God that all has ended well and the only concern for us now is in the future. We should think positive so that all will also end well in the future.

"A Busy Quarter for the Learners"

The Second Grading Period has ended and there are two more to go until we graduate. Even though we had a hard time in doing our works in school due to the consecutive typhoons, I think we still did a great job in our studies this quarter. But we learned a lot this quarter that can help us in the future even with all of these circumstances.

On this quarter, we had a hard time finishing our assignments, activities and projects all at the same time. Every night was a busy night for us. This is because of the unexpected 1-week vacation which is caused by the typhoons. Our teachers rushed all the topics that will be on the test. We also had a hard time preparing for the Periodical Test because, we didn't had much notes in all of the topics so we had a hard time reviewing. And I did my best, and I think my best wasn't good enough so I will do a lot better in the following quarter.

This quarter was sure challenging and you may say, it is harsh too. But past is past and you can't change it so don't ever think about the past and concentrate in the next quarter. In other words, prepare for the future ahead of you, and never think about the past...

My Teacher...My Hero...

Heroes are people who can do things that helps other people. People don't need extraordinary abilities like the superheroes we see in comics and television like Superman. Every people can be a hero just by doing something simple but it can help others.

Can we consider teachers as heroes??? Of course, we consider them as heroes. Why? Because teachers help us, students, by teaching us. They are the ones who makes our future better and makes sacrifices just to share us their knowledge about something. They give us advice that helps us in the future. Even if they don't have any special powers, they do have their wisdom as their power.

So we must give thanks to our teachers in doing their extraordinary works in order for us to be successful in the future. If it weren't for them, I won't be this successful. So I thank them so much...
